Aboutus About Us

Welcome to our website!

From the moment Bach saw me, there was love in the air! He couldn't believe his eyes. Could it be...? An angel before him??? Yes! Ok... So that's a bit exaggerated... Here's how it really went down:

As cheesy as it may sound, we like to think that we're really meant for each other. Throughout college, we knew many of the same people but our paths didn't cross until our fourth year of college (**credit must be given to our cupid match maker Julius Lim**). A couple months after first meeting each other, a group of us decided to go see a show called Dance Alive, however, on the day of, our friends 'conveniently' bailed on us so we were forced into going to the show alone (thanks Julius...). Well... as it turns out, that was the night that started it all... Before we knew it, time had flown by and it was close to 2 am and neither of us wanted to say goodnight!

After four years, we're finally getting married!

**Cue engagement story**

No matter what Bach may say or deny, here's what REALLY happened...

A couple days before we were to leave for a cruise, we decided to go check out some engagement rings. That day we found the ring to seal the deal! But unbeknownst to me, Bach had bought the ring then and there while I was waiting in the car (I was feeling sick and was resting)! The next day, Bach went to the jewelry store to pick up the ring before we left for the cruise. And...

No. He did not propose on the cruise... Instead, I ended up finding the ring in his suitcase while unpacking when we got back! This was NOT a case of me being snoopy! As I was unpacking Bach's suitcase right in front of him as he was sitting on the couch, I heard some clinking like loose change so I stuck my hand into the suitcase to pull out whatever change might have fallen out of his pants and low and behold... I pulled out a ring box instead... I asked Bach "What... is... this...?" Ahhh... the look on his face was classic! Complete shock and a gasp was the answer I received. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING???" "UNPACKING YOUR LUGGAGE!!!"

But, for the romantics out there, Bach did redeem himself. After making him hide the ring, I asked him to plan a more romantic proposal for a later time. A few weeks later, we went to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse for an aaawweeessoooomee dinner. Then for dessert, we went to the place of our first date and had chocolate covered strawberries that Bach had made. After about 2 strawberries, I wanted to stop since naturally, I was full after stuffing my face with a steak, but the insistence to eat just one more ("What about the one in the middle?") was strong... As I gave in and was about to eat the strawberry that would put me over the edge, I noticed the ring box hidden amongst the strawberries! Bach pulled out the beautiful shiny ring and asked "Hannah, my love, will you marry me?" And... you know the answer to that!

So, there's the "official" proposal story! Don't believe Bach's version.
